Rasa Kanapickienė: , PhD, is Associate Professor and Head of Department of Finance and Accounting at Kaunas Faculty of Humanities, Vilnius University (VU KHF), Lithuania. She obtained her PhD in Social Sciences (Management and Administration, 03S) in 2001 from Vilnius University, Lithuania. She is the Curator of Master Study Programme in Accounting, Finances and Banking at VU KHF. She is Vice-President of the Lithuanian Association of Accountants. She is Founder and currently Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the national scientific journal “Accountancy: Theory and Practice”, first published in 2007. Dr. Kanapickienė is the author of numerous scientific articles and several university books and monographs. Her scientific interests cover accountancy, accountancy management systems, internal audit, national and international accountancy standards, financial analysis, monetary policy, and university studies’ management.
