Polish Consumers’ Preferences in the Era of Globalization

ABSTRACT. The present article is aimed at discussing chosen aspects of consumer preferences expressed by Polish people in the globalization era. It should also be added that Polish society is not only affected by the global economy but also by socio-economic transformation that began in Poland after 1989. Article present’s various action and subjective assessment made by Polish people with respect to their consumer needs, action aimed at improving financial status and standard of living, activity in the marketplace, choice of consumption means and household’s satisfaction with current standard of living in the global economy in the period 1989 - 2009.
