Rasim Yilmaz: , PhD, Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Business and Accounting at Tekirdag Social Science Vocational School, Namik Kemal University, Tekirdag, Turkey. Dr. Yilmaz is the EU Leonardo Da Vinci Institutional Coordinator, the adviser of AEGEE-Tekirda? and the general coordinator of the EU 7^th research framework programme of Namik Kemal University. He is Member of Poverty and Income Distribution Commission of the State Planning Institution. Dr. Yilmaz received his MA and PhD degrees from the American University, Washington D.C. in 1996 and 2003 respectively with the scholarship of Ministry of Education of Republic of Turkey. He received Frank Tamagna Award for Outstanding Work in Monetary Economics in 2000 and Simon Naidel Award for Outstanding Work in Economic Theory in 2001. He became Associate Professor in 2006. He is a member of Turkish Economic Association. International finance, international trade, and monetary economics are his areas of interest.
