Wiesław Debski: , Dr. Habil., Full Professor of Economics (financial market and corporate finance management), employed at the University of Finance and Management in Warsaw and at the University of Łódź as a professor [profesor zwyczajny = professor ordinarius]. In 1972, he graduated in Econometrics from the University of Łódź (Poland), where defended his doctoral thesis in 1980; and his habilitation thesis in 1991. Awarded the title of professor in 2002. Between 1978 and 1980 completed postgraduate studies in economics in the Institute of Advanced Studies, Vienna. The author of 109 scientific and research works, 77 of which published, including 16 books (6 of which he co-authored) and over 40 articles published in widely-read domestic and foreign periodicals. A member of the Committee on Financial Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a member of the International Atlantic Economic Society.
