- Milan Jurse
- , PhD, is Associate Professor (from 2005 onwards) at the Department of International Trade and Business, Faculty of Economics and Business (EPF) at the University of Maribor, Slovenia. His academic specialisation is international marketing. Prior to joining the faculty staff he was employed as an international marketing professional in a Slovenian machine building company where he gathered extensive experience in international business-to-business marketing. He served at EPF as Department Head and as Vice-Dean for education, and is a Member on the review boards of several scientific journals (Journal of Euromarketing, Tržište/Market, Zagreb International Review of Economics and Business) and Head of the International Management specialization module in the faculty’s MBA study. He has published a book on International Marketing in the Slovenian language and contributed papers in several scientific books covering the topics of international business and trade and higher education transformation within the Bologna process (in Slovenian) respectively. He has also published scientific papers in various scientific journals (Naše gospodarstvo/Our Economy; Tržište/Market; The Proceedings of Rijeka Faculty of Economics etc.) and in proceedings of international conferences. His current research interests are strategic international marketing in the internationalisation process of firms, market position development concept of firm in international markets, holistic (market-oriented, stakeholder and socially responsive) view of business school strategy formation, transformation of business education in transition countries, etc.
