Angela Roman: PhD, is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University. Her main teaching activities are centred on subjects like money, credit and banks, monetary and public financial policies, financial integration, financing and lending of the SMEs. Over her 20-year career her research activities included publishing of 14 books and over 70 articles, published in national and international well-known journals (blind reviewed and indexed in international databases) and also active participation at over 80 scientific events both, at home and abroad. Also a key point in her academic career is underlined by her active involvement in the organisation of 7 international conferences on different European integration topics at the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University, in 2 of which she was project manager (e.g. as project manager in 2010 at "Nominal and real convergence in the adopting process of the single European currency by the new member states"). Between 2005 and 2012 she has been also an active member in 6 research projects and grants and in several professional organisations like EEA, IABE, DAAM, AEDBF and AFER.
