GRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF THE ROMANIAN EMPLOYMENT EVOLUTION UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INDUSTRIES BETWEEN 2000 AND 2016

ABSTRACT. Between 1998 and 2016 Romanian employment encountered a sinuous evolution especially due to the financial crisis from 2009. The present paper objective is to analyse the situation of Employment, Active population and Employment rates of young people for Romania from 2000 to 2016. To this end, the researcher uses two methods to analyse the above indicators. First method consist in a simple examination of the indicators values evolution. The second method uses Mathcad program for modelling and calculus of trend functions of Employment evolution influenced by the Production in industry, Construction, Retail trade and Services indicators. Further, the determined functions were implemented in developing the 3D graphic representations that emphasize a hierarchy of indicators that influence the total employment in Romania. The research showed that the most influential indicator was Services, followed by Construction and Retail trade, with the Production industry in the last place .
