DIAGNOSTICS OF SINGLE CASES OF HARASSMENT AND BULLYING IN RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN STUDENTS OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS: INTERVENTION MEASURES FOR THE TIMELY IDENTIFICATION OF THE PHENOMENA

ABSTRACT. Research results presented in this article are a part of the project financed by the Lithuanian Ministry of Education and Science. The project is implemented in accordance with one of the topics announced for the youth initiatives contest "Learning and psychological environment in higher education institution". During the project, it is intended to carry out the research, diagnosing single cases of harassment and bullying in the relationships of students of Lithuanian higher education institutions and proposing intervention measures for the timely identification of phenomena. The research results detailed in the article show that Lithuanian higher education institutions are still not ready to tackle bullying. Students who experience single cases of harassment and bullying have faced the same problems at school, and victims have not acquired sufficient social competence allowing efficient tackling of the existing situation .
