Ligita Simanskiene,: PhD (in field of management), is a professor at Klaipeda University, Faculty of Social Sciences. She has over 24 years of experience in management: teaching, consulting organizations and doing research. She is an organizer of 12 international conferences held at KU SMF and more than 26 conferences in different countries. Member of Faculty Council. Member of joint Doctoral Council in Management (KU, VMU, SU, MRU, ASU).Official doctoral reviewer of 29 dissertations (8 in Latvia, 21 in Lithuania). Scientific adviser for two doctoral students, Expert of Higher Education Quality Evaluation (in Latvia, 2012). Member of scientific board of nine scientific journals in Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Czech Republic. Her research is fuelled by her drive to find best ways to unify and motivate both society and business enterprises. She has a long-lasting publishing experience: her works have appeared in 7 different monographs and various methodical guidelines for students. Her articles have appeared in more than 70 publications in both local and foreign scientific journals. Research interests: organizational culture, corporate social responsibility, cultural differences, teamwork, sustainability.
