Slobodan Lakic ,: graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro, in Podgorica. He took his MA and PhD degrees at the Faculty of Economics, University of Beograde, in the field of monetary policy. He was employed in the Public Accounting Service, doing the job of an auditor. He was also the Montenegrin Securities Commission Chairiman. He has been employed at the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro, since 1992, teaching the courses Monetary Economics and Banking Management at the undergraduate academic study programme. He is the author or co-author of 9 books and 75 research papers. He is the Head of the Banking Deparment at the academic postgraduate study programme. Ha is a member of the Council of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Montenegro. His research interests include monetary policy, banking, financial markets, political economy and media.
