ABSTRACT. Because of the need to minimise the face-to-face meetings of people, many companies were forced to provide options for remote work or home-office. This is why the goal of the presented study is to estimate the work productivity of individuals during the home office and its comparison with the performance at the workplace. As the research method, a questionnaire survey was carried out in October 2020 and in electronic form addressed to employees in Slovak companies on the surveyed sample of 302 respondents. Based on the assessment of individual determinants influencing the work performance during home-office, the outcomes have shown that due to insufficient technical equipment, there was no significant effect of increasing labour productivity as in other foreign economies.
