ABSTRACT: Nowadays industrial agglomeration has attracted great attention. With the development of the internet, cross-border e-commerce (CBE) has rapidly emerged as a new mode of international trade, which lowers the trade cost and expands market space; while industrial agglomeration can also provide products for CBE business and improve related industrial chains. The synergistic development of the two is of great significance in enhancing the resilience of regional economy. This paper focuses on the synergistic relationship between CBE and industrial agglomeration, and studies the basic path. Meanwhile, it explores cases of the CBE export process of the wig industry in Xuchang, China, and analyses the causal relationship between the two factors by constructing a fixed-effect model. Finally, this paper provides suggestions for industrial agglomeration to participate in international trade through CBE.
