Michal Kudej: PhD, is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, where he earned both his engineering and doctoral degrees. He works as an assistant professor at the Department of Strategy at the Faculty of Business Economics, University of Economics in Prague, where he teaches corporate finance, due diligence and risk analysis and specialises in corporate finance and restructuring processes. Recently, he has been involved in a research project for the implementation of the European Directive on Preventative Restructuring. Since 2016, he has been a member of the scientific board of the Harry Pollak Centre for Restructuring and Insolvency at the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics in Prague, where he focuses on corporate crisis and insolvency issues and their resolution. Since 2017, he has also served as an examiner for the examinations of special insolvency administrators. He has published in both Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals and has contributed to several book monographs.
