THE INTRINSIC LOGIC AND ANALYTICAL FRAMEWORK OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE’S IMPACT ON ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT DECISIONS
Yanyu Wang,

ABSTRACT: AI is reshaping the way technological systems are designed and deployed. This study explores the intrinsic logic and analytical framework of AI and its impact on enterprise management decisions. Relying on the resource-based view (RBV) and the existing literature, a conceptual model of the impact of the intrinsic logic and analytical framework of AI on strategic decision-making and decision-making efficiency is developed. 383 valid questionnaires from 100 firms in various Chinese sectors that had reported the use of AI in their operations were collected. Using partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM), it was established that AI adoption has a significant positive impact on enterprise decision-making efficiency and strategic decision-making, which in turn drive operational cost reduction and innovation capabilities. These improvements foster a competitive advantage, leading to enhanced firm performance. This research provides useful insights for researchers and managers into the transformative potential of AI in enterprise management decisions.
