Miroslav Gombar,: PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Management and Business, the University of Prešov in Prešov. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies, the Technical University of Košice, in the field of general mechanical engineering with a specialisation in manufacturing technologies and in 2002, he was awarded an academic degree in mechanical engineering. He is scientifically active in the fields of production technologies with a focus on production technologies and surface treatment processes, operational management, logistics and the application of statistical methods in the field of research and management of production processes. He is an author of more than 120 publication outputs in the relevant areas of research, including 8 monographs, 5 contributions in Current Contents journals and almost 40 contributions indexed in the Scopus database.
